TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of hiresprint.co and all associated services (collectively, "HireSprint" or the "Service") operated by HireSprint ("we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

  • "Account" — A registered user account that provides access to the Service
  • "Content" — Any text, data, or materials you submit to or generate through the Service
  • "Generated Output" — Resumes, cover letters, and other documents produced by our AI on your behalf
  • "Plan" — A subscription tier (Free, Starter, Pro, Career, or Lifetime) as described on our Pricing page
  • "User" — Any individual who creates an Account or accesses the Service

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

  • You must be at least 16 years of age to use HireSprint
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of other people without their consent
  • We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe are fraudulent

3. Description of Service

HireSprint provides AI-powered career tools including but not limited to:

  • Resume tailoring for specific job descriptions
  • ATS (Applicant Tracking System) score analysis and optimisation
  • Cover letter generation
  • LinkedIn profile optimisation
  • Job application tracking
  • Interview preparation and career strategy guidance

The features available to you depend on your active Plan. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

4.1 Subscription Plans

HireSprint offers monthly and annual subscription plans, plus a one-time Lifetime plan. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Annual plans are billed as a single payment for 12 months of access.

4.2 Free Tier

All new HireSprint accounts receive a free tier that includes 3 resume tailorings and 1 cover letter at no cost. Free tier usage does not require a payment method. Once free tier limits are exhausted, a paid subscription is required to continue using the Service.

4.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4.4 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By providing payment information, you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method according to your selected Plan. You agree to Stripe's terms of service at stripe.com/terms.

4.5 Taxes

Prices displayed on HireSprint are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, and levies imposed by your jurisdiction.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account Settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access to the Service until your period ends.

5.2 Refunds

All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. For annual plans, we offer a pro-rated refund within 14 days of payment if you have not used the AI tailoring features more than 5 times during that period.

5.3 Lifetime Plans

Lifetime plans are one-time, non-refundable purchases that grant lifetime access to the Service at the tier purchased. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the HireSprint platform.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use HireSprint to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Submit false, misleading, or fabricated resume content with intent to deceive employers
  • Circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or usage quotas through technical means
  • Share, resell, or sublicense access to the Service to third parties
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or service
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or any software intended to damage our systems
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our team
  • Use the Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair it

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions, with or without notice, at our sole discretion.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of all Content you submit to HireSprint. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the right to submit the Content
  • The Content does not violate any third-party rights
  • The Content does not contain sensitive data about third parties without their consent

We do not claim ownership of your Content and do not use it to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for details on how Content is processed.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

HireSprint uses large language models (Anthropic Claude) to generate resume content, cover letters, and other career materials. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or information that does not accurately represent your experience
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all Generated Output before submitting it to employers
  • HireSprint does not guarantee that use of Generated Output will result in interviews, job offers, or any specific employment outcome
  • Submitting false or misleading information to employers is your sole responsibility — HireSprint accepts no liability for your use of Generated Output
  • AI outputs may occasionally fail to generate, be incomplete, or produce unexpected results

9. Intellectual Property

The HireSprint platform, including its design, code, branding, trademarks, and non-user-submitted content, is owned by HireSprint and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the HireSprint platform without our prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HIRESPRINT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any Content submitted through your account
  • Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
  • Any employment outcomes or lack thereof
  • Any errors or omissions in AI-generated content

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO HIRESPRINT IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) £50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HireSprint and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time:

  • You: Cancel your subscription and close your account at any time via Account Settings
  • Us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or any conduct we determine is harmful to the Service or other users

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Before initiating any formal legal action, you agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at contact@hiresprint.co. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.

Any disputes not resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email or by posting a notice on our website. For non-material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and HireSprint
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision
  • Assignment: We may assign our rights under these Terms without restriction. You may not assign your rights without our prior written consent
  • Force majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control
